Lilac is not only a beautiful plant, pleasing to the eye, but also medicinal, often used in folk medicine. Useful properties of lilacs are known from ancient times. Recipes from lilac

  1. For the treatment of kidney diseases (pyelonephritis, cystitis, kidney stones) take infusion of lilac leaves. This same infusion can be used for lotions and washing of wounds, purulent ulcers. To make it, 2 tbsp. l. finely chopped leaves pour 1 tbsp. hot water. The resulting mixture boil and insist 2-3 hours. After filter and squeeze. Take 14 days for 1 tablespoon 4 times a day before meals. If necessary, after 14-21 days treatment can be repeated.
  2. At high temperature, the leaves of lilac (6-8 leaves put in 0.5 l of water) brew, drink with honey and lemon.

For the treatment of asthma make infusion of flowers or leaves of lilac (they are collected during the flowering period). 2 tbsp. l. harvested raw materials are poured into 0.5 liters of boiling water, it is insisted for 1 hour.   2. Leaves help the early ripening of abscesses and their purification from pus. Wounds heal quickly if you apply crushed lilac leaves to them.
  3. Purulent wounds and ulcers, difficult to heal, are successfully cured with fresh leaves of lilac. The sore place is steamed and covered with carefully washed fresh leaves and bandaged. On the first day of treatment, the bandage is changed 3-4 times, in the future - once a day.
  4. In case of problems with the veins, it is recommended to stomp your feet in hot water, then apply fresh lilac leaves to them.
  5. For arthritis, neuralgia, rheumatism, ointment is used from the juice of young leaves with pork fat or oil (1: 4).

Tincture of lilac leaves is indicated for rheumatism, salt deposition, for compresses, rubbing, lotions for arthritis, sprains, bruises, gout and joint pain. 100 g fresh leaves fall asleep in a bottle, pour a liter of vodka, insist two weeks in a dark place. Take tincture of 30 drops three times a day for 30 minutes before eating and at the same time rub it with sore spots or apply compresses.

To cure pain in the joints, you need to use the following recipe: 2 tablespoons of dried lilac flowers and 1 tablespoon of crushed laurel leaves and willow bark pour 0.5 liters of vodka, insist 3 weeks. After this, tincture strain and use for compresses (compress to hold no more than 2 hours!).

In case of osteochondrosis and arthritis, a medicine should be taken, for which it is necessary to take: 2 tablespoons fresh lilac flowers, add 200 g of honey, 100 ml of vodka and 300 ml of freshly squeezed black radish juice. The received medicine to rub in sore spots 2 - 3 times a day.

Contraindications to the use of lilacs
