What is the Marble Cave?

Such popularity is quite justified - according to experts, Marble Cave is one of the five most beautiful caves of our planet and is one of the most popular cave tourists in Europe. The marble cave is located near the village of Mramornoe, it is best to reach it by car. If you do not travel by private car, you can use the services of taxi drivers. But be careful: very often taxi drivers overstate the price of their services.
For fans of hiking, the following option is suitable: from Yalta to the trolleybus (to the stop "Zarechnoe"), then by bus to the village of Mramorny, and then along the high-voltage line (through the quarry) - about 8 km. Of course, not everyone can master this walk.
You can also reach the Marble Cave by bus: from Yalta for an hour and a half, from Gurzuf per hour.
Marble caves in the Crimea: schedule
Like other objects of the center of the Crimean speleotourism, the Marble Cave has certain opening hours: 8-00 - 20-00 daily. The price of the excursion varies depending on the route (on average 5-10 $). For a fee (modest enough - just over $ 1) you are allowed to take pictures in a cave. Entrance to the Marble Cave is possible only together with the guide, as part of the excursion, after all, despite the fact that the cave is equipped, it remains a rather dangerous natural object. It is very important to stay close to your tour group, keeping up with it and not staying longer in the cave.
