In beautiful Marrakech one of the main and very ancient sights of Morocco is located - Medina, or as it is also called, the "red city". This is the most mysterious part of the city, in which you can admire the real Moroccan color and find out more about the life of the population. Medina Marrakech has become the most interesting tourist and historical site of the city, which is listed in the UNESCO heritage list.
Streets of Medina
Medina was named "red city" due to the shade of the stone from which it was built. Part of the original construction of the walls you can now see in the south. If you look at the Medina of Marrakech from a height, you can compare it with a web, in the center of which is the area of Djemaa al-Fna . It is here that the most interesting and unusual entertainments are: fire shows, snake charmers, conjurers, acrobats, dancers, etc.
In Marrakech, Medina was surrounded on the outside by beautiful gardens. Inside the ancient city, vegetation is very rare. The streets of the Medina are very narrow, with an average width of 4-5 people. In some parts of the ancient city you will find several more important historical sites of Marrakech:

How to get there?
Before the Medina in Marrakech, it is easier and faster to get there by taxi or a personal car. In principle, the cost of taxi services is low: $ 0.7 per km. You can reach the ancient city with the help of the 30S bus, but it runs around the city very rarely and stops two blocks from Medina.
