Mike Tyson changed the profile: a former boxer wants to grow ... medical marijuana!

The other day it became known that the former boxer Mike Tyson decided to engage in a rather unusual business. It turned out that in addition to the passion for pigeons, the ex-heavyweight champion intends to devote himself to growing marijuana in a manor in California.

The fact is that in this American state since the beginning of the year the law on partial legalization of cannabis came into effect. For this reason, the authoritative sportsman decided to expand his sphere of interest and cultivate marijuana for use on medical grounds.

The press reported that at the end of last year Tyson bought as many as 16 hectares of land in close proximity to the National Park Death Valley - this is an abandoned place that should become a "life-giving oasis in the desert." Anyway, this is Mike Tyson's plan of action.

Not for pleasure, but for the benefit of science

Together with his two business partners, Mr. Tyson plans to grow raw materials for medical research. The science knows that cannabinoids can significantly alleviate the condition of patients who suffer from certain oncological diseases - epilepsy, alcoholism, diabetes, schizophrenia, multiple sclerosis ... This is not a complete list of the ailments that modern medics are trying to fight with this miracle plant.

On the farm, the boxer will be defeated by plantations, and a hydroponic plant is also built. In addition, there will be shops, a campsite and even a school, where everyone will be trained in the wisdoms of growing marijuana.

The mayor of California-city nearest to the farm, Jennifer Wood, reacted positively to the beginnings of the former boxer. After all, his initiative will create many new jobs. "Tyson Ranch" will attract tourists to a rather remote area, which I often call just "ghost town".

Belief in the healing power of cannabis

Journalists report that a former athlete has long believed in the effectiveness of drugs based on psychoactive hemp. Now Mr. Tyson will have the opportunity to prove by his own example that marijuana is a raw material that, after a certain treatment, can be used to make a variety of medicines. Including preparations from "posttraumatic stress disorder".
