- polished - processed by grinding and polishing, this method achieves a mirror surface, the complexity of processing adds and a greater cost to the material;
- polished - is obtained as a result of cutting unevenness from the front side of ceramic tiles, thus an original and effective combination of polished surface with matt areas is formed;
- satined (glazed) - has high performance characteristics, obtained as a result of firing with the use of wax and mineral salts;
- structured - has a relief texture, can have the appearance of natural, untreated stone, imitate wood or other materials;
- Glazed - the least used facade granite, is made with the application of glaze, applied before roasting, the least wear-resistant.
Frost-resistant ceramic granite for the facade can also be identified in a special category. To produce it, special antifreeze impurities are added to the mixture, which increases its resistance to the operational requirements for extreme temperatures. Its surface is often corrugated and rough.
The choice of tiles from porcelain stoneware used for finishing the facade depends on the personal taste and preferences of the customer, one should only take into account that the glaze is the least used, since it loses its external effect faster than other species.
A popular type of ceramic granite tile is the imitation of natural natural materials, mostly of stone, but you can find a tile under the tree and even under the skin wallpaper. The most commonly used type is the relief tile, despite the fact that it is the most expensive for the price. It is the least noticeable dust, dirt and, unlike polished, there are no stains and fingerprints.
Ceramic granite tiles used for facades have two significant drawbacks that must be considered.
