Previcox for dogs - instruction

Pervokoks tablets are prescribed to animals for the treatment of osteoarthritis, as well as after surgery on the limbs. They are taken at the rate of 5 mg per 1 kg of dog weight once a day.

It is forbidden to apply the drug to females during lactation and to pregnant, newborn pups until they reach the age of 10 weeks. Small dogs weighing less than 3 kg, sick animals with bleeding, with severe hepatic and renal failure are also contraindicated to take previcox. Do not use it to dogs that are particularly sensitive to the ingredients of the drug.

Thanks to special aromatic additives, the medicine is readily eaten by dogs. If the animal refuses to accept, the tablet can be given with food. To relieve pain in the dog after the operation, previcox should be given to the animal two hours before the surgery and afterwards for three days, 1 tablet. The duration of treatment depends on the course of the disease.

In case of an overdose, the dog may have excessive salivation, abnormalities in the digestive tract, apathy.
