Many lovers of wavy parrots try to breed them, but it takes a long time, and the eggs themselves do not put off. The thing is that these birds like to arrange nests in tree hollows, and only when the "birdhouse" appears they feel the need to hatch. There are, of course, also such specimens that agree to incubate chicks in a completely inappropriate place, even if there is a well-equipped nest, but these cases should be attributed to rare exceptions. How to make a nest a wavy parrot?
- Roughly speaking, our house will be a wooden box with one entrance and a lid. The dimensions of the nest for wavy parrots depend on its type. There are three main varieties:
- vertical houses;
- horizontal;
- compromise nests.
It is believed that the latter species is the most convenient. A high-placed hole prevents babies from leaving the "birdhouse" early, and the presence of a step prevents the testicles from accidentally damaging when the mother jumps in.

We must understand that this is not an aquarium, but a secluded place for laying eggs, and therefore saturate the house with various unnecessary things is meaningless and even harmful.
