Washing windows is not easy and not the most exciting process, however it invariably enters the general cleaning of any premises at least twice a year.
Varieties of scrapers for cleaning and washing windows
Along with the traditional window brushes, special scrapers are used that allow the liquid to be removed from the washed glass, leaving an ideally clean surface. They are much more effective than conventional brushes, because they do not leave the slightest divorce.
The scraper for washing windows is either a nozzle on the brush, or a separate device and consists of a plastic frame and a double-sided blade (usually steel), which is pulled out by pressing a button. Also very popular are rubber scrapers.

One of the most modern is a magnetic scraper for washing windows. It allows you to wash the glass on both sides while being inside the room. Such a scraper can have magnets of different power, which will depend on the thickness of the glasses. Wash them can be a balcony window, double and even triple glazing. With it, you can wash both manually and with a bar, if it is available.
How to clean windows with a scraper?
The algorithm for washing windows with a scraper is quite simple:
- First you need to wash the glass with a detergent. As it, use an aqueous solution of ammonia, potassium permanganate, laundry soap or a special agent for washing glass surfaces.
- Then wash the window with the same nozzle or brush, after washing it in clean water. Repeat this step as many times as necessary until all the dirt has disappeared from the glass.
- Take the scraper or attach the appropriate nozzle to the rod. One movement from top to bottom, drive away all the liquid left on the glass. To start working best from the left corner, gradually moving to the right (unless, of course, you are not left-handed).
- To the windows there are no divorces, after each approach, drain the scraper for the windows, removing excess moisture from it with a dry napkin.
