Such mixers will be convenient where there is no centralized hot water supply, as well as a boiler and a heated boiler. In this case, even in the absence of hot water, there is a full opportunity to install a hydrobox.

But the minuses of electric mixers are available. First of all, this is a weak power of the water head, when it is not possible to fully use the internal functionality of the shower cabin.

In this case it is recommended to additionally install a reinforcing pump to increase the water pressure in the system. Another disadvantage of the electric mixer is scale deposits in large quantities, and therefore it is necessary to carry out preventive maintenance every six months, and also to change the cartridge inside the mixer.

Mechanical Mixers

This is the most simple and usual mixer for the average person, it is very easy to control. They have the maximum head of all available devices, and therefore the pressure in the system for their operation is not a hindrance.

An interesting type of mechanical mixer is a shower cabin with a thermostatic mixer, which allows you to adjust and set a certain water temperature. This is very convenient, especially where there are small children, because such a system will protect them from burns with hot water.

Electronic Mixers

The latest development of engineers in the field of shower equipment - electronic models of mixers, which are equipped with a control panel, where the current temperature is displayed, and there is the possibility to adjust the required temperature smoothly and with an accuracy to a degree. To equip the hydrobox with such a panel, it will need a rather large place for the installation of the control unit.
