1. First you need to decide on the type of team. There are two ways of driving a team: a fan and a train (pairs).

The width of the sled is usually about 80 cm. The skids must be wide. The distance between the skids is 55 - 75 cm, fix them at an angle for the stability of the sledge. 3. For each sled dog it is necessary to make a harness. It is made from wide, soft belts, so as not to cause pain to the animal. The harness is like a noose, it is put on the dog's head over the chest, fastening around the body. On the back it is supported by straps. Its end should be on the side of the dog so that you can attach the harness to the pull. For convenience, the details of the harness are best combined with modern steel carbines.
4. For the sled driving team will need a long (depending on the number of dogs), a strong belt. This, the so-called, pulled - the basis of the team. It must be securely attached to the arc on the front of the sled. To pull it is necessary to attach the side belts, which will be fastened with harnesses with dogs.
