Features of the contents of snails of rutin

Water in the aquarium is needed with stiffness parameters greater than 7 pH and acidity above 5 degrees. Otherwise, the shell of the shellfish will collapse, and they will die. The peculiarity of this species of individuals is their inability to reproduce in a fresh environment. They need slightly salted water for the appearance of young individuals. This is also their advantage - they do not occupy the vessel with their population. Snails of Neretinum live about three-four years.

Aquarium snails of the Neretina eat almost all the algae. They clean the pond from the plaque on plants, stones, walls, are excellent nurses. This kind of snails are ideal aquarium specimens. They eat with great appetite algae, and live plants do not touch.

It is advisable to replenish their diet with spirulina, blanched vegetables, as the plant can not support itself with algae alone.

These shellfish are pretty peaceful creatures and do not disturb the rest of the aquarium inhabitants. But keeping them with aggressive fish is not recommended.

The only problem with them is the ability to escape from the pond, so the lid of the aquarium should be tightly closed. Snails of Neretin are the best and unpretentious specimens for a freshwater aquarium. They are bright, funny and they are always interesting to watch.
