Unconscious in psychology

The role of the unconscious in the life of every person is very great. Habits, skills and habits carry an unconscious basis. Awareness of all the laws of the interaction of consciousness and superconsciousness, the study of the properties and techniques of the unconscious, enables each person to confidently walk through life, improve the effectiveness of their actions, successfully solve their life problems

The unconscious in psychology denotes the totality of mental processes, phenomena, actions and states, in the influence and functioning of which a person is not able to realize himself. They lie outside the human mind, are unconscious and can not be controlled by consciousness, at least at a particular moment. The discoverer of the unconscious in the human psyche and the whole section of unconscious psychology was Sigmund Freud. He was one of the first to raise the question of the incorrectness of the identification of consciousness with the human psyche. Freud believes that the problems of the unconscious predetermine human behavior.

The following types of unconscious are distinguished:

  1. The natural unconscious, which consists of instincts, drives, collective unconscious. It should be noted that the term "collective unconscious" was introduced into psychological literature by the Swiss psychotherapist K.G. Jung. Collective unconscious, according to Jung - is the precipitation of the functioning of the ancestors of the animal series. It is characterized by the fact that its content has never been in consciousness and is inherited from ancestors.
  2. A personal or individual unconscious process consists of contents that were once conscious, but eventually disappeared from consciousness.

The unconscious is fraught with a huge amount of information, experiences and memories, much more than the visible side of the consciousness of each individual. Get access to this life baggage is not so easy, but someone who does succeed will forever forget about failures in any field of activity.
