Vyacheslav Zaitsev was born in Moscow, in the city of Ivanovo in 1938. He got a specialty of the artist of textile design in the Chemistry and Technology College, and after that - a specialty of the artist-designer at the Moscow Textile Institute. Vyacheslav Mikhailovich began his design career in 1962 in the city of Babushkin, as artistic director of the Experimental and Technical Garment Factory. But for a long time there was not delayed, already three years later, heading the All-Union House of Clothes on Kuznetsk.
It was during this period that the fashion designer met with Pierre Cardin, Guy Laroche and Mark Boan, who greatly influenced his future work. Zaitsev began to work hard to design his own collections for shows abroad, not forgetting about the domestic light industry, creating costumes for theaters in Moscow, movies and scenic images for stage artists. And in 1980 it was Zaitsev who was honored to dress the Soviet delegation of athletes at the Olympic Games in Moscow.
Zaitsev became the artistic director of the Fashion House in Moscow and founded his own Fashion Theater. From this time until now, the designer Vyacheslav Zaitsev is engaged in the creation and display of author's collections, which always become one of the most vivid and anticipated events of fashion weeks.
