Winter boots for riding

If you are keen on horseback riding , then you inevitably face the question of choosing winter shoes for this sport, because the frosts we have are quite serious. There are two main versions of winter boots for riding.

Types of winter boots for riding

The first option - winter women's leather boots for riding. Such models look the most presentable, they even with a small layer of fur warm well in winter frosts, protect the skin from wind and precipitation. However, winter boots for riding from genuine leather are quite expensive, especially if you buy models of popular brands in this sport. An alternative can be the usual leather boots bought in the store, but with all the requirements for riding shoes.

The second option - boots made of thermal materials. They are also called thermal bulbs. The lower part of such boots is usually made of rubberized material to protect against getting wet, and the upper one consists of a special fabric, quilted by a heater, which has the ability to hold and return heat to the body. Such boots for riding are much cheaper than leather, and their only drawback, in comparison with models made of genuine leather, can be considered not so beautiful and elegant appearance.

Selection of riding shoes

Firstly, these boots should have a narrow enough sock so that they can be easily passed into the stirrup. Secondly, the boots should have a smooth sole without a tread, this is a mandatory requirement of safety. Thirdly, boots for riding should have a brightly expressed but not high heel. The recommended height is 2 cm. Riding boots should fit tightly on the shin and go up to the knee so that you can feel the horse and give it faster commands.
