1 September in 1 class

So this moment has come - your child is "the first time in 1 class". Some of us can not wait until it happens, and someone, on the contrary, is surprised when the baby has managed to grow so quickly. But in any case, admission to school is an important step in the life of the child, and we, the parents, are obliged to do everything for the speedy adaptation of our little schoolboy. To do this, let's remember how the September 1 holiday is taking place for first-graders.

Ruler

The ceremonial part of September 1 is a traditional "ruler". Tell the child in advance what will happen at this time. As a rule, in the schoolyard, the kids are divided into classes and become next to their future teacher, while the parents will stand separately. It's good if your child already knows and trusts the teacher, but in any case, try not to lose the kid from sight.

The first bell is an important and interesting moment of the holiday. Usually, in August, during preparation for September 1, the teacher decides which of the children will participate in this event. If your child turned out to be the lucky person who will be ringing a bell at the hands of a future graduate, then encourage him on the way to school in the morning and say that you will look at him from afar.

In addition, depending on the school traditions, high school students can give the children symbolic gifts (stationery, letters, etc.). And the kids give brought bouquets to their first teacher or teacher. It is better to take care of buying a bouquet in advance: it should not be too heavy, so that the child is not tired to keep it throughout the whole "ruler".

At the end of the solemn part, the director usually congratulates the first-graders and grants them the right to enter the school premises first. The children, led by the teacher, climb the steps of the school and go to their class, which will be their second home throughout their primary schooling.

The first meeting of first-graders

In class, the children immediately sit down at desks. They will listen to the introductory speech of the teacher about their future studies, about what is the holiday of September 1, etc. In some schools at the first meeting the presence of parents is allowed, in others - not. But if you have any organizational questions, you can always come up and ask them.

Children with their parents go home, but the celebration should not end there. So that the child has good memories of this day, you can give your new first-grader a gift, reduce it to a zoo or to attractions. The kid should understand that on September 1 in the 1st class is his holiday, which means that today he became a real schoolboy. All this is aimed at forming a positive attitude towards school and learning.

First lesson in 1st grade

The next day after September 1, regular classes begin. Their schedule should also be known in advance. You probably already purchased all the necessary supplies : a school diary, notebooks and albums, pencils and pens. On the eve of the first day in school, help the child pick up the satchel so that he knows where and what to look for.

The first lessons for first-graders are usually reading, math and writing. In September, the children have 2-3 lessons a day. They learn to read, write and count, listen to the teacher, work collectively, perform various tasks. At the end of the school day, be sure to ask the child how his day went, what he learned, what difficulties there were. Let such conversations become a habit: it will help you to find a common language with the child and in time to prevent possible problems with studies.
