Ibuklin is a drug that has antipyretic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects. Tablets and cubical junior were specially developed for children.
Ibuklin children's tablets: can I give children?
It is not recommended to give ibuklin to children under three years of age.
Ibuquín for children: composition
One tablet of ibuklin contains ibuprofen 100 mg and 125 mg of paracetamol. As an auxiliary means includes: corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, lactose, glycerol, peppermint leaf oil, flavors (pineapple, orange), crimson dye, aspartame.
Ibuklin for children: indications for use
Children's ibuklin is prescribed for the treatment of the following diseases:
- painful sensations of different etiology (headache, dental, joint trauma, stretching);
- the need to lower body temperature during cold and viral diseases;
- otitis media of the middle ear;
- inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract (tonsillitis, pharyngitis, sinusitis).
Ibuklin: release form
This drug is available in two forms:
- pills and ibuklin for adults;
- Soluble tablets for children (sometimes called "syrup and bbuklin").
Children's tablets are capsule-shaped, painted in pink and have a pleasant taste. Due to the fact that the tablet itself dissolves in the liquid, the use of ibuklin in this particular dosage form makes it easier to give the drug even to such a child who constantly refuses to take medication. The tablet dissolves within a few seconds, which is very important when the child has a high temperature and requires immediate intake of antipyretics.
In the package you can observe 10, 20 or 100 tablets.
Ibuklin for children: dosage
If the doctor has prescribed Ibuklin for children, then the following dosage is possible. Children under 12 years of age are expected to receive a dosage based on the body weight of the child: not more than 20 μg per kilogram of the child's weight:
- children 3-6 years (13-20 kg) - three tablets per day;
- children 6-12 years (20-40 kg) - up to six tablets per day;
- children over 12 years - one tablet three times a day.
Between the drug should take at least four hours.
As an analgesic, Ibuquin can be given to a child no longer than five days, and as an antipyretic agent - no longer than three days.
Ibuklin: contraindications
Like any medicine, Ibuklinum in tablets is not recommended for children suffering from diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, hematopoiesis and those with impaired liver and kidney function.
Ibuklin child: side effects
In case of overdose or intolerance of individual components of the drug, the following reactions are possible:
- pain in the stomach;
- weight loss in the child;
- nausea;
- vomiting;
- lowering of blood pressure;
- general retardation;
- noise in ears;
- pallor of the skin;
- impaired consciousness.
In especially severe cases, there may be seizures, the onset of coma. Therefore, it is important to follow the instructions clearly and to follow the dosage in accordance with the doctor's recommendations.
It should be remembered that any medicine intended for the child, including ibuklin, should be given only after a preliminary consultation with the doctor. Because self-medication can only complicate the existing disease and contribute to the development of complications.
Due to the combination of ibuprofen and paracetamol, ibuclein for children is the most effective means to reduce body temperature during colds.
