The cutaneous antiseptic is a disinfectant intended mainly for use in the field of medical, cosmetology and hairdressing services, as well as for hand hygiene in places where clean water and soap are not available. Skin antiseptics are most often used to treat hands by medical personnel before surgical and other manipulations involving direct contact with the patient. There are skin antiseptics used for processing:

- chlorhexidine and other substances.
There are also multicomponent skin antiseptics containing two or more active components. As auxiliary ingredients in the composition of these products are introduced substances that soften the skin, moisturizers, thickeners, flavors, etc.
