In the capital of Malaysia there is a unique deer park (Deer park or Taman Rusa). Here you can not only look at the noble animals, but feed them, pat and photograph.
Description of sight
The park is located on a hilly area near the lake Tasik Perdana in the center of Kuala Lumpur and has an area of about 2 hectares. Here in the lush vegetation of the tropics live more than 100 individuals of deer, which belong to representatives of various species. The landscape of the park is planned in such a way as to maximally provide a natural habitat for these artiodactyls.
Here grow numerous exotic trees, and artificial ponds create such an animal necessary coolness. All the reindeer of the park are tame ones, since they are taught from the very birth not to be afraid of people. This fact creates a special highlight for visitors.
What is interesting in the park of deer?
On the territory of the house there are such artiodactyls as:

- kanchili (kancil) or mouse deer.
The last species of animals is the most popular among tourists. These are the most ancient artiodactyls on our planet, considered to be the most miniature and reminiscent of a cat. The weight of South Asian mouse deer does not exceed 2 kg, and the growth at the withers is 25 cm. They are mentioned in many fairy tales and legends of local residents.
Visitors to deer park are allowed to communicate closely with animals. Some of them freely move around the garden, while others are in large enclosures. The employees of the institution can buy special food for animals and feed them - it's a terrific experience!
Travelers can also see rabbits, geckos, reptiles and other local animals here. For those who are tired of wanting to relax, there are benches in the park. Especially there are a lot of them near the reservoirs, which cool the visitors in the daytime heat.
Features of visit
The deer park is open every day from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. The entrance is free. It is possible to walk on territory on foot or on electric cars.

How to get there?
From the center of Kuala Lumpur to the entrance to the deer park, you can take the KL ETS-GDKMUTER bus. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Here you will get on the Putra LRT metro (stations called Bukit Jalil and Seri Petaling) or by car along the Jalan Perdana, Jalan Damansara or Jalan Damansara and Jalan Cenderawasih. The distance is about 6 km.
From the main entrance to the park to the habitat of deer, it is necessary to walk along the central avenue. And in the place where it splits, turn right and go 100 m.
