One of the largest museums of Southeast Asia, dedicated to Islamic art, is located in the capital of Malaysia . In order to collect as many exhibits reflecting the characteristics of the Islamic world, in 1998, this famous museum was opened in the center of Kuala Lumpur on the territory of the Botanical Garden of Perdan. There are many art items, ranging from tiny jewelry to one of the world's largest scale models of the Masjid al-Haram mosque in Mecca. Architectural features
The four-story building of the museum is built in a medieval Islamic style with art deco elements harmoniously inscribed in eclectic architecture. How to get there?
You can get to the Museum of Islamic Art in many ways. 500 meters from the railway station is Kuala Lumpur.
