What documents are needed to register a newborn in the apartment?

When the registration of a newborn child is made, the parents submit their documents to the passport office. Despite the fact that there are no clear deadlines for regulating the residence permit of the child, there is a fine for a too long residence permit, for example in Russia in the amount of up to 2500 thousand rubles. According to the list, certified by the head of the JCC, parents submit such documents, on the basis of which the propiska of the newborn is implemented:

For example, if documents are issued for the newborn's registration to the father, it is necessary to apply for the registration of the child at his place of residence, as well as a statement from the mother about her consent to the residence permit and confirmation that the child is not registered with her. But when you register a child with the father's mother, you do not need it.

Registration in a private house

To register a newborn in a private house, you need the same documents that are given for registration in the apartment, with the difference that an apartment requires an extract from the home book, where all the people who live in it are listed, and to register in a private house you need a house book that is at the owners' house.

The registration of the child does not need the consent of other people who live in this house. It is only necessary that one of the parents who is registered in this house expresses the desire to register with the child, even if this parent is not the owner of the premises and even if the necessary area for propiska is not sufficient at the prescribed minimum.

The procedure for the registration of the child is free, no fees or fees should be required from the parents. For a child under the age of one month, there is no need for a certificate from the father's place of residence, after one month it will have to be submitted.

When registering a child, both parents must be present only if they are not married and the child is registered at the place of residence of the father. A propiska is necessary to obtain a medical insurance policy for the child, child allowance and maternity capital, as well as for further registration of the child in pre-school institutions.

Separate residence of a minor child is prohibited by law, therefore it is not permitted to register a child at the place of residence that does not coincide with the registration of one of the parents (or adoptive parents and guardians).

The registration form number 6 for residence permits is given to the parents of the passport card by the parents together with the sample for filling. The term of registration can vary from 1 to 7 days, the passport desk also records a birth in the parent's passport in the "children" box.
