The drug is based on levofloxacin. It is the chemical isomer of ofloxacin, which shows great activity against aerobic microorganisms. Moreover, the active ingredient effectively fights against chlamydial bacteria and even parasites.
Rapid achievement of positive therapeutic results is due to the high concentration of levofloxacin in a single dose. It exceeds the minimum required amount of antibiotic for sensitive pathogens by almost 100 times.
In addition, the substance remains in the eye film for a long time, not less than 6 hours.
Eye drops Segnicef are indicated for use in the event of affection of the adnexa and anterior segment of the eye with a different infectious flora that is treatable with levofloxacin.
