The history of the brand Fendi

The history of the brand began in 1925 in the Roman workshop, which manufactures leather goods. It was in this year that Fendi's spouses decided to open their own branded products store. Thanks to manual finishing and high quality products, the store began to thrive and gradually gain momentum. Deciding to expand, the couple in 1932, opened the first salon for the sale of fur products. Since then Fendi fur coats have been considered a model of style not only in Italy, but all over the world.

Receivers of Fendi's spouses were five of their daughters, who shared the responsibilities of running a business. Sisters Fendi by joint efforts not only saved the decline of the famous brand after the Second World War, but also brought it back to the market, making it even more popular.

In 1952, the sisters invited Karl Lagerfeld, a German designer, who laid the foundation for the modern Fendi brand. Karl changed the concept of work, so that the fashion house was recognized around the world. He also developed the Fendi logo, which is still used today.

In the 70s, the fashion house began developing the first women's clothing line, as well as accessories. At that time, Fendi's products were intended only for wealthy people. To increase the number of customers, in the 80s it was decided to start the release of "Fendissimo" - the youth line. In 1990, the Fashion House presents the first men's clothing line Fendi.

Since then, the famous Italian brand is constantly expanding. Shoes, furniture, perfumes, clothes, accessories, jewelry, as well as fur and leather products presented in the modern market, delight fans of this brand with annual original collections.
