With a huge choice of garage doors, many want to do it themselves. In addition to special tools, this work requires certain knowledge and skills from a person. Lift-type structures are difficult to manufacture, so for those with little experience, it is preferable to tackle swing models.

The upper part joins the element with the outer leaf and the lower part with the frame. The strength of the joint is given by a metal strip having a thickness of 5 to 8 mm. We weld it with the upper part of the hinge and the sash with the welding machine. The inner part of the joint is reinforced with reinforcement.
Installation of garage doors with their own hands is made in the garage opening. We use metal pins, the ends of which are cut off, scalded, ground and dyed. This same work can be done with long self-tapping screws or dowels.
