Weston Park

Weston Park is one of the parks of the Australian capital . It is located on a peninsula, and is surrounded on three sides by water. The park is named after Thomas Weston, a well-known Australian gardener who has done a lot for the landscaping of Canberra. The park goes to the man-made lake Burli-Griffin , located in the heart of the city. Initially, Weston Park was part of a dendrand and tree nursery, and it was only in the 60s of the last century that it began to take shape as a park; in 61 he received his present name.
