George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin "adopted" a basset hound

George Clooney decided to do a good deed and sheltered the dog. The actor and his wife Amal Alamuddin are not in a hurry to start their children, and the appearance of a troubled four-legged friend will give them an extra opportunity to practice in the care of a new member of the family.

Earlier, the artist lived a pig, Max, who died of old age at the age of 18. The actor, saddened by the death of the boar, decided not to start any more pigs and switched to dogs.

The dog named Milli

The newlyweds were going to start another dog (they already have a cocker spaniel Louis and Spaniel Einstein) and accidentally saw pictures of Millie on a special Petbinder animal shelter website.

A 4-year-old basset hound was abandoned by the owner and the dog, in search of food, began to come to the back entrance of one of the many restaurants and ate scraps.

At personal acquaintance the good-natured dog liked the couple, but they were afraid if she could get along with other animals.

To make sure, George and Amal came to visit Milli together with Louis and Einstein. The Trinity spent two hours at a walk in an open-air cage and found a common language. To everyone's joy home, they returned with the Basset Hound.

The star couple, which in September celebrated the anniversary of the wedding, once again denied the gossip about problems in the relationship between them and the imminent break. Amal, according to the shelter workers, communicated with her husband with tenderness and warmth, and Cluny looked at her with enamored eyes.
