Problems with skin and fingernails are caused by many factors: here and household chemicals, and unpleasant weather conditions, and spring avitaminosis . As a result, the skin becomes dry, loses its elasticity, the nails lose their shine, they can begin to crumble. Normal creams or lotions in this situation help, but with prolonged exposure. It is believed that the procedure is hot (it is cream or oily), manicure several times increases the efficiency of the hand care products, promotes their nutrition, improves the overall condition of the nails and skin. During the procedure the hands are immersed for a while in a cream or butter warmed to a temperature of 50-55 degrees. It is believed that the warmed cream expands the pores, speeds up blood circulation and promotes faster and easier penetration of nutrients into the skin.

The procedure for hot manicure can easily be carried out both in the salon and at home.

Hot manicure technology

Regardless of whether a hot manicure is held at home or in the salon, it contains a number of mandatory steps:

  1. The nails are cleaned of the remnants of the old varnish.
  2. With the help of a nail file, the desired shape is attached.
  3. Lotion or cream is poured into the bath and warmed to the desired temperature. In the salons for this usually used a special apparatus for hot manicure, which not only heats the lotion to the desired temperature, but also maintains it throughout the procedure. At home, as the oils and the cream cool quickly enough, a water bath is usually used to maintain the temperature.
  4. The fingertips fall into the bath for several minutes. In salons, with the use of professional tools and apparatus, it is usually 7-10 minutes. At home, it is recommended to keep your hands in the bath for 15 to 25 minutes.
  5. After taking the bath, the rest of the lotion is distributed over the hands, massage is performed and the cuticle is processed, preferably with an unedged method (using an orange stick).
  6. After processing the cuticles, the leftover lotion is removed from the nails with a cold wet towel, the nails are degreased and varnished.
