Thermotherapy

As is clear from the name - thermotherapy is a method based on the thermal effect on the body. In medicine, transpupillary, laser-induced (laser) and microwave thermotherapy are used. With its help treat serious diseases, but thermotherapy is also used in cosmetology. This procedure allows you to get rid of excess weight, cellulite, restore the elasticity of the skin after childbirth or sudden weight loss, increase blood circulation and improve the overall condition of the body.

Thermotherapy procedure

By and large thermotherapy can be called and visiting the sauna, but in cosmetology is still used a slightly different way. The body is heated by infrared sources, which provides a better effect than when you visit the sauna. Infrared heat can act on tissues that are at a depth of up to 4 cm. Due to such a deep heating, fat cells decay much faster, and, consequently, elimination of undesirable fatty deposits and cellulite occurs quickly and efficiently. During the procedure, problematic zones are affected by infrared rays, with the aid of a thermotherapy apparatus and a special suit. Practice shows that reducing the volume of the hips and waist is possible up to 1.5-2 cm after the first session. In general, usually 10-15 procedures of 45 minutes each are recommended. At the same time between sessions, breaks of 2-3 days are made, since the effect of thermotherapy is somewhat prolonged in time - the effect on the organism continues for another 48 hours after the procedure. Exposure to problem areas of the body is in the range of 36-45 ° C. Often for a greater effect, thermotherapy is combined with other procedures, such as pressotherapy.

Contraindications to thermotherapy

Studies have shown that such infrared effects on the body of a healthy person are completely safe and can bring considerable benefits. But nevertheless for carrying out of thermotherapy there is a number of contraindications. These are various gynecological diseases, varicose veins, skin and infectious diseases. Also, thermotherapy is contraindicated in women during the menstrual cycle and pregnant women. With care thermotherapy is performed after recent joint damage, wait at least 2 days after the injury or until the tumor and sharp soreness subsides. An obstacle to thermotherapy may be a predisposition to bleeding.

Thermotherapy of hair

It turns out that heat can have a positive impact not only on the body, but also on the hair. No, this does not mean that the hair should be placed in a bag and warmed ungodly. Everything is much simpler. By thermotherapy, hair means cutting with hot scissors. As a result of this procedure, the hair, as it were, is sealed, and the nutrients lose the ability to go through the cut of the hair. As a result, the head of hear acquires a more well-groomed and healthy appearance, and the problem of cut ends also ceases to concern. But, like any treatment, it has a number of drawbacks. First, there is no need to wait for an instant result, several procedures must be performed to make the effect noticeable. True, the haircut with hot scissors should be performed less often than with the usual method of cutting hair. Secondly, hot scissors are designed for simple cutting off the cut ends, and therefore, they do not make any complicated haircuts. In addition to cutting with hot scissors, there is also a procedure for thermal treatment of hair with an open flame - the strands are alternately treated with fire. Fixation of nutrients occurs over the entire length of the hair, the effect is immediately visible and lasts for several months.

On the benefits of heat on the human body, our distant ancestors also knew, you understand that the same baths were invented far from the last century. But progress has also touched this sphere, and now the treatment of the whole human body with high temperatures is done a little differently.
