Pie with carrots

Carrots are a remarkably useful root crop containing fiber, various trace elements, carotenoids and vitamin A, improving liver function, skin and eyes.

Carrots are part of many dishes, for example, using carrots as a filling, you can bake delicious pies from different types of dough (yeast, puff, bezdorozhevoe on kefir, etc.).

In a large bowl, mix homemade kefir , sugar, eggs and sifted flour. Add 1 whisper of soda and spices. Knead the dough. Carrots rubbed on the grater and also added to the dough. Thoroughly mix.

For baking, a refractory shape is required (it is most convenient to use low silicone or glass). Lubricate the form with oil and fill it with dough.

We bake a pie with carrots in the oven for about 40 minutes at a temperature of about 180-200 degrees Celsius. Check the pie visually and match it (stick it in the middle, if the match is dry, then the cake is ready). We extract the cake from the mold by turning it over the dish. If the cake does not separate from the bottom - put a wet napkin on top. We serve with sour-milk drinks or compote.
