How to install roller blinds on plastic windows?

Double-glazed windows and modern sun protection systems in the form of roller blinds in tandem are the best option for decorating window openings in any premises of the house. In this case, you can completely install roller blinds yourself, without even using drilling tools and without damaging the surface of the window profile.

Installing roller blinds with your own hands - the first option

If you do not want to injure the sash windows, drill holes in them for screws, there is a reliable way to hang the roller blinds of the Mini system without it. In this case, we will attach them to the spring bracket. The only caveat: this method is applicable only for windows with opening flaps.

The instruction for securing roller blinds in this way is as follows: you hang a plastic or aluminum spring bracket on the sash of the open window and just press the seal. Do not be afraid - this does not prevent the valve from closing tightly.

Then on the brackets are put on side retainers or covers. In this case, special fasteners are used, available both on the bracket and on the side lock. After that it's just left to put the blind with the shaft.

Installation of roller blinds on the window - option two

Another way how to install roller blinds on plastic windows without drilling is by using adhesive tape. It is suitable for opening and deaf types of leaflets. Otherwise, this method is called EasyFix.

In a set with roll curtains should go special fasteners with an adhesive layer under the protective film. When you accurately check the size of the curtains and apply labels to the window flaps at the desired distance and height, you will just have to remove the protective tape and press the fastener securely to the pre-degreased section of the profile.

After installing the fasteners on both sides, you need to fix the side locks on them and hang the curtain.
