Prince madly loved the purple color, actively used in life and on stage. The lighting of the stage, costumes, design of plates and even the legendary Yamaha pianos, all had a shade of purple. Note that even in his work he used color to convey his inner state. One of his famous records is symbolically called Purple Rain. Fans of the singer inextricably connected it with this shade.

It is a great honor for us that we can give a special status to this shade. The name Love Symbol was chosen not by chance, the so-called Prince album, which once again proved his genius. Love Symbol № 2 symbolizes not only the style inherent in the singer, but also the unity of the female and masculine principles.
In the distant 1992, Prince issued his legendary and had a breakneck success album Love Symbol. The design of the album was very unusual, as it was decorated with a symbol of love and unity invented by the singer, in consequence he repeatedly appeared on clothes and accessories of Prince's fans. As the musician himself claimed, his album is a response to the limitations in the work of Warner Brothers studio, the producers did not allow the extravagant artist to express himself during performances and recording of songs.
Insolence manifested itself not only in his independent work outside the studio and the contract, but also in the fact that he began to appear on the stage with the inscription on his cheek "slave". Prince in an interview so described his action:
This is one of my first independent steps. I not only stop working with Warner Brothers, but I also give up my stage name - Prince, now there is Love Symbol. I do not want to be made a trademark of me and I'm tired of being a money bag for the studio. The only thing I strive for is love, so my new name completely reflects my work.
