Living room and nursery in one room

Unfortunately, it is not always possible to equip a separate room for a child in the apartment, so you have to combine the living room with a nursery. This solution of the problem allows, as a result, to have a child's private corner, and at the same time leaves the possibility for the rest of the family members to use a detached recreation area. The design solution in this case, directly depends on the child's age.

Designer solutions for the living room and nursery in one room

If a child is breast-feeding, it is enough to equip a corner with a baby cot and a changing table in the living room, separating it with a screen from the rest of the room.

To make zoning of a room on a drawing room and a nursery for an older child, you need to allocate more space, since it should be enough not only for sleep, but for games and classes. When combining a living room with a child, a number of tasks arise that need to be competently solved.

It is necessary to carefully plan in advance the design of the room, which combines the living room with the nursery, so that the space allocated for use by the child is not a through passage. To do this, the area intended for the baby should be the most remote from the entrance door to the room.

A good solution for dividing the room into different zones is the mobile partitions, they can be made of plasterboard, and have arched entry openings. You can use the partition made of frosted glass, it will allow the room to remain more lit. But you can also use curtains made of bamboo or beads, if the area of the room is small.

You can also use case or upholstered furniture to separate the child's recreation area from the guest area. Whichever method is not used when dividing the room into zones, the main thing is that it is comfortable and convenient.
