Lubistok is a very common plant with a strong pleasant aroma. It is used in cooking and folk medicine .

How to plant a lover with seeds?

Lyubistok easily reproduces by seeds. The most popular varieties are Don Juan, Hercules, Leader, Preobrazhensky Semko. It is best to use a seedling method, making sowing in March, or in open ground at the end of April. The seeds germinate after 12-14 days. If the seedlings are too hefty - and so it is likely, and because the size of each seed is small - the shoots must necessarily be weeded out, leaving an interval of at least 1 meter between them. The adult plant is an impressive bush size about one meter in diameter, and you need to leave room for its growth.

Keep in mind that lovage is a perennial plant. Therefore, choose a place for planting carefully. As experience shows, to plant a lover at the dacha is best in a shady place to release sun beds for more demanding plants.

In addition to growing from seeds, lovage can be multiplied and dividing rhizomes. This method makes sense if the plant needs you to use as a medicinal plant, and you will need a lot of greenery. For culinary purposes, it is enough to plant one single bush, which during the warm season will please you with its wild growth.
