Nemo 33


"Nemo 33" in Belgium is an indoor swimming pool in the heart of Brussels , founded in 2004. Moreover, the whole world he is known as the deepest. So, its maximum depth leaves no less than 33 meters!

What's interestnig?

The pool holds 2,500,000 liters of non-chlorinated filtered water, the temperature of which is always maintained at +30 degrees Celsius by means of solar heaters. And on this feature, "Nemo 33" does not end: it has several caves 10 meters deep. It is interesting that due to warm water divers can immerse themselves in water for a long time without wearing a wetsuit.

This miracle was designed by the Belgian expert on diving John Nathichart, calling "Nemo 33" a special design for multi-purpose scuba diving, recreation and even for filming of movies. In addition, this pool was included in the list of 18 best and at the same time unusual swimming pools in the world. You can enter it as usual vacationers, divers-amateurs, and professionals. If you decide to scuba dive, then you will be allowed to do this, provided that you have reached the age of 12 and do not have any medical contraindications. Divers are supervised by a coach. If you have a special certificate, then no one will follow you.

On the territory of the pool complex there is a restaurant, a bookshop and a shop where you can buy bathing accessories. By the way, there are corridors with so-called deep windows, from which you can see the pool from different depths.
