Pepper bulb - growing seedlings

The main problem in working with pepper seedlings is its sensitivity to temperature changes or rough work during transplantation. There are not too many rules for caring for sprouts of Bulgarian pepper and this process is not considered difficult, but if technology is broken, you will get healthy seedlings without further abundant harvest. Therefore, all the tips for growing peppers are usually aimed at obtaining the highest quality and large yield.

How to grow sprouts of Bulgarian pepper?

Part one - the preparatory stage

The entire process from the preparation of planting material to the planting of the finished seedlings, we divide into several key stages. All these stages will be discussed in detail in the list below:

  1. First, let's define with when to plant the seeds of Bulgarian pepper on seedlings. Calculate the most convenient time for planting, based on the full period of maturation. Almost all varieties of pepper give yield after seedlings for 100-150 days. In this case, the seedlings themselves are transferred to the open soil on day 80. Depending on the conditions of your region, this can be either the 20th of February, or the first decade of March.
  2. In the matter of cultivation of seedlings of Bulgarian peppers, one should pay careful attention to the preparation of planting material. In particular, it is important to protect your crops from various kinds of fungal diseases. It is enough to soak the seeds in a solution of the fungicide available in the nearest store. Sometimes it saves and just a bright saturated solution of potassium permanganate . At what we shall soak all seeds at once, having put them in a gauze pouch, after processing we wash out in warm water. Now it is necessary to awaken a little planting material. This is even easier. We put the change in a damp cloth and in a warm place for about a week. As soon as they proklyutsya, you can begin landing.
  3. With the preparation of the planting material, we have finished, we turn to preparing the soil for seedling of Bulgarian pepper. In principle, nothing prevents you from using ready-made mixtures for seedlings, which are in any specialized store. There just need to add a little clean sand. Experienced masters of vegetable business for such things are not wasted and prepare the substrate yourself, mixing two parts of humus with peat and, again, add sand. It does not matter which path you choose, steamed or roasted the soil will be necessary in any case.

Part two - the main stage

So, the preparatory stage is completed and it's time to start the main work. We process the container with a solution of potassium permanganate and pour in the soil. From the edge of the container to the level of the ground should be about a couple of centimeters. Further, every two centimeters with tweezers, we spread out the already-seeded seeds.

From the top we left about a couple of centimeters, so just so much we pour on top of the seeds. We compact the soil a little and send our plantings either to a small house greenhouse or to cover it with a packet. But now the most difficult thing is starting, namely, providing the necessary temperature regime. Until the first week of the seeds are preparing to release seedlings, try to provide approximately 25 ° C. Once the shoots appear on the surface, it is reduced up to 17 ° С. We will also water only with warm water, preventing the accumulation of liquid.

In the process of growing sprouts of Bulgarian pepper, every few days, turn the container the other side to the light. Any florist will tell you that many plants begin to reach out to the light and grow somewhat one-sidedly. But when you start turning the pot, the plant is leveled. The same happens with seedlings. As soon as two real sheets appear on it, a dive begins. This period will come about the fourth week.

And finally, it's time to plant the sprouts of Bulgarian pepper. Remember that pepper completely does not tolerate the cold, you will have to wait for a constant temperature of about 17 ° C and only then begin the landing. When the time comes to plant seedlings of Bulgarian pepper, you simply get a seedling with a clod of earth and transfer it to a prepared well. With respect to agricultural technology, problems should not arise.
