What signs of uterine myoma appear in a woman, largely depends on the place of tumor formation and the direction of its growth. By this principle, fibroids can be classified:

• interstitial - the location of the middle of the muscular layer of the uterus;
• submucous - grows into the lumen of the uterus;
• subserosal - the direction of growth is oriented in the abdominal cavity;
• Cervical - myomatous node located in the cervix.

Each of the varieties of myoma has its own peculiarities not only in relation to symptoms, but also in its effect on the body as a whole.

So, submucous myoma is often the cause of miscarriages, even in later periods. The first and main sign of this fibroid is uterine bleeding.

Sub-serous myoma disrupts the work of nearby organs, causing a feeling of heaviness, pain, sometimes quite strong.

Is it possible to become a mother in the presence of fibroids?

Uterine fibroids can be a problem on the way to motherhood. In cases where the myomatous nodes are located at the opening site of the fallopian tubes, this makes it difficult, if not impossible, to conceive the child. The development of a tumor in the uterine cavity often interferes with the growth of the embryo, provokes miscarriages or developmental lag. The presence of fibroids in the neck area makes it impossible for a natural delivery.
