According to Simons, the case took place in 1993 in Beverly Hills in the mansion of the actor. Regina said that Segal invited her to a celebration on the occasion of the completion of the film "In deadly danger," where the actress was involved in several episodes. But when she arrived, there was no one else in the house except Steven, and he himself said that the guests had already left. After Segal took her to one of the rooms, which later turned out to be a bedroom, under the pretext of showing something. Simons claims that despite her discontent and categorical refusal, the actor broke her clothes on her and took it by force. Regina recalls that in the room she saw a photo of Kelly Le Brock, Segal's former wife at the time.

The actress stated that she was waiting for Segal to acknowledge his guilt, as long as everyone keeps saying nothing about it, the situation will not change:
"If future rapists know that their actions will be made public and punished, then maybe they will not commit such terrible acts."

Law enforcers said that another case was filed against Sigal, since in 2005 there was already a similar incident that happened with a woman who wished not to disclose her name. To date, there are 12 women who complained about harassment from Steven Seagal.
