Kuba Gooding Jr. made an official statement, reporting a divorce from his wife Sarah Kapfer after 22 years of marriage. The couple lived separately for the past two years, so the star step of the "American History of Crime" did not come as a surprise.

In the spring of 2014, Sarah Kapfer, referring to "irreconcilable differences", appealed to the court with a request for divorce. Kuebda Gooding, Jr. was not ready for such a turn and convinced his wife to give their relationship a chance. The wife of the Oscar winner agreed to reconciliation, provided that they temporarily live separately. But, obviously, lovers could not glue the broken cup and Küba himself decided to divorce.
Speaking about his current relationship with the mother of his children, the actor said:
"Life changes and we change, it happens sometimes. Sarah and I stay in friendly relations, even running on dates. But for each other we are friends, not spouses. "
Civilized divorce
Spouses were able to reach agreement on the conditions of the divorce, agreeing on joint custody of the 11-year-old Piper. In addition to her daughter, Sarah and Cube have two more adult heirs - 21-year-old son Spencer and 19-year-old Mason.
Cube is not greedy and undertakes to pay alimony to Piper and provide material support to the ex-wife, and also to share with her jointly acquired property, provided that Kapfer will not claim his very substantial income for the past two years.
