The school can work well only with the interaction of the administration, teachers, students and their parents. Therefore, when sending your child to the first grade, you should be prepared for the fact that you will be offered to be a member of the parent committee. Many people, after listening to the stories of their friends, are immediately inclined to the fact that it is better not to participate in it. But the parent committee in the classroom is not just created, it is primarily necessary for the children themselves. There are two types of parent committees: in the classroom and in the school, whose activities differ in the scope of the issues being addressed.
In this article we will consider what is regulated and what is the work of the classroom parent committee, and what role it plays in the activities of the entire school.
According to the Law "On Education", model regulations on general education institutions and the school charter, classroom parent committees should be organized in each school. The goal of the creation is to protect the interests and rights of minor children in school and to assist the administration and the teaching staff in the organization of the educational process. What is the work of the parent committee in the classroom, how to choose it correctly, how often to hold meetings, the basic rights and obligations are clearly spelled out in the "Regulations on the parent class committee", signed by the director in each educational institution, and he is considered one of the management bodies.
Composition of the parent class committee
The composition of the parent class committee is formed at the first meeting of the parents of the pupils of the class on a voluntary basis in the number of 4-7 people (depending on the total number of people) and is approved by voting for a period of 1 year. One of the elected members is elected by the vote by the chairman, then the cashier is appointed (to collect money) and the secretary (for keeping minutes of the meetings of the parent committee). Usually the chairman of the class committee is a member of the parent committee of the school, but this may be another representative of the school.
Rights and duties of the parent class committee
Most often, everyone believes that the activity of a classy parent committee is only about collecting money, but it is not, he, as a separate member of the management in the school has his rights and responsibilities.
