Perhaps the grandmothers know the secret of a happy childhood and try to share this secret with us, even when we are already growing up. And it's no surprise that we want to please them and remind them how important they are. We suggest you make a pleasant surprise for your grandmother - a greeting card made from paper with your own hands.
Postcard to grandmother in scrapbooking technique - master class
Necessary tools and materials:
- white cardboard (better designer);
- a sheet of double-sided scrap paper;
- Scissors, ruler, stationery knife;
- adhesive, double-sided adhesive tape;
- glue gun;
- paper flowers;
- brads, ink pad (optional).
For a postcard to my grandmother, I decided to turn to traditions and settled on a classic delicate card with flowers, and as a congratulatory card I chose the imitation of a form for telegrams. Next, I will show you step by step how to make a greeting card for your grandmother yourself:
- Cut the paper and cardboard into the parts of the right size.
- Using the ink pad, I lightly tinted the edges of the paper and pictures, giving a slightly aged look.
- Then we glue the inscription and the congratulatory letterhead to the substrate, which is also slightly toned with ink.
- Using a double-sided adhesive tape, glue the greeting card to the paper (this will be the inside of the postcard) and add the brads to the corners at the corners.
- Next, we design the inside of the postcard. If desired, you can paste a photo on the second half that will remind your grandmother about you.
- Now we will create bunches of paper flowers - I decided to make a pretty lush composition, but the combination of several flowers will look just as good.
- We paste the inscription on the cover and add the brads (I added two, because the other two corners will disappear under the flowers) and fix the paper on the base.
- Glue gun fix flowers on the card. Also, if desired, you can add beads, rhinestones or pendants.
- This is a touching and even a little naive, we have learned a postcard. Let there are no complicated techniques or non-standard ornaments, but, in my opinion, this card will appeal to our beloved grandmothers, becoming for her the best gift .
