Tilda deer

Tilda dolls are very cute and funny toys. Very often they are used for decoration. For example, such a wonderful winter reindeer can decorate a Christmas tree.

When making any toy in this technique, remember the basic rules:

How to sew a deer yourself

For convenience, you can print out patterns. Here is the body of a deer, horns, its arms, legs and ears, as well as clothing.

  1. So, we cut out two parts, add them in pairs to each other and sew together.
  2. Transfer these patterns to the fabric (for example, coarse calico), leaving small allowances on the seams. Beginners in sewing should be aware that the lines should be applied to the underside of the fabric so that they are not visible on the surface of the finished product.
  3. In order to emphasize the difference between the horns and the trunk, you can use a different fabric - coarse calico. Cut out of it two elements.
  4. A feature of the pattern for this tilde deer doll is that many of its details are rounded. And so that the fabric lies as flat as possible and does not wrinkle, at this stage, small incisions should be made in the bends of each element.
  5. When all the details are prepared, fill them with a holofiber or any other kind of filler for soft toys.
  6. Stuff the deer tilde as tightly as possible using a long thin skewer or pencil.
  7. Branched horns also properly fill with holofayberom.
  8. Now all the details of the trunk can be sewn. Do this in such a way that the deer was in a sitting position, like a tilde in photos of this micron. Use a hidden seam so that the thread is not visible (especially on the muzzle).
  9. Now we start sewing clothes for a toy. Dissolve the fabric in accordance with patterns, not forgetting to leave a centimeter on the allowances.
  10. Fold both details of the sweater with the wrong sides outward and sew them (in the figure the seam spot is marked with a red dotted line). The elongated upper part is the collar "under the throat". In such a sweater your deer will be warm and cozy!
  11. Also cut two pieces for each leg and sew them.
  12. Sew both legs together. For convenience, the fabric can be pre-pinned with pins.
  13. Sew a deer ears, and then horns.
  14. After you dress the tilde, there will still be a couple of strokes - to draw or embroider a deer eyes and chew on cheeks. Such a deer will become part of a wonderful festive decorative composition, and for the company it can be made a sheep , Santa Claus, Christmas angel or any other New Year's tilde .
