In anticipation of a loved one since childhood, I want to decorate my house with unusual Christmas decorations. In stores, an assortment of Christmas balls, a variety of garlands, pendants and balls is so great that it is not difficult and be confused. But no such toy can be compared with the one you made with your own hands! Materials used for these purposes can be anything: paper, foil, wood, fabric, thread. Ornaments for the New Year can be made from a salted dough.
Such simple in manufacturing and pliable in work material, like salted dough, allows to create New Year's crafts of any shape and size. And his recipe is extremely simple! All that is needed to make New Year's crafts made from salted dough is wheat flour, water and salt (1: 1: 1). Mix the ingredients, knead the dough - and you're done! It is not necessary to use this dough at one time, it can be stored in the refrigerator for a long time, waiting until another interesting idea visits you.
Christmas decorations
If there are small children in the house, and you do not represent the New Year without a beautiful tree, Christmas decorations from salted dough will be irreplaceable, because glass balls represent a real danger for them. And the kid, attracted to the creation of Christmas-tree toys, will be grateful to you.
We offer to use an uncomplicated master class and make of the salty dough New Year's toys in the form of stars, hearts, Christmas trees and everything that fantasy tells you!
We will need:
- dough;
- rolling pin;
- biscuit molds;
- PVA glue;
- a cocktail tube;
- narrow tapes;
- sequins, beads or sequins.
- Roll the dough prepared according to the above recipe into a layer about 0.5 centimeter thick. With the help of biscuit molds squeeze out the figures.
- To our Christmas decorations can be hung on the Christmas tree, you need to use a cocktail tube to make holes in the upper part of all the figures through which the tape will be later passed. Make holes away from the edge of the figures.
- Line the baking sheet with greased paper and carefully place the dough pieces on it. For the same purpose, you can use a metal grille.
