Prince Harry and William visited the Star Wars film studio

The schedule of the British monarchs is very dense, however, even in it there are public events "without ties". The other day the princes Harry and William visited Pinewood Studios, where the film franchise "Star Wars" was shot. In an official statement Kensington Palace said that the purpose of this visit is to introduce the princes to the British film industry, as well as thank the actors for their services to the UK.

Light swords, Chewbacca and droids

Now in the filming pavilions of Pinewood Studios the process of preparation for the creation of a new film "Star Wars: Episode 8" is in full swing, so it was not difficult to conduct an excursion to the monarchs. The main guide for Harry and William was the actress Daisy Ridley, who plays the role of Ray. The princes were shown workshops and technical workshops, serving the entire filming process. In addition, they made us feel like heroes of the tape and were allowed to "poyazhonichat" on the site. Young princes, of course, immediately drew attention to light swords, fighting on them. Judging from the video that showed British television, Prince Harry defeated his brother, wounding him in the left shoulder. Further monarchs came to the droids - robots R2D2, C3PO and BB-8. Prince William, one of them was very interested, and squatting down, the young man looked at him for a long time. At this time, Harry decided to become a pilot and headed for the galactic RZ-1. Sitting in place at the helm, he carefully examined it and pretended that now he was about to take off, which caused a smile among the people around him. However, the most striking moment was the acquaintance with Chewbacca. Prince William for a long time could not move away from this character, asking the actor about his work. Apparently, William so impressed Chewbacca that he had come to embrace him. However, Prince Harry did not stand aside, and as soon as his brother left the shaggy hero, he himself approached him to embrace.

After this fun part of the event the heirs of the British Crown got acquainted with the actors who will play in the VIII episode: Mark Hamill and John Boyer. After a brief conversation with them, the princes embraced the entire crew, making a beautiful group photo.
