Red root, it's also a kopeck tea, the white root is a medicinal plant with a long branched rhizome that grows in the mountainous regions of Altai. The root of the plant contains catechins, which color its tincture in red, hence the name red root.
Properties of the tincture of the red root
The red root includes tannins, amino acids, flavonoids, coumarins, triterpene saponins, minerals, catechins, kompferol, quartzetin, hyperoside.
Due to its chemical composition, the red root and preparations based on it have anti-inflammatory, diuretic, antispasmodic, vasodilating and vaso- strengthening, tonic and immunity-enhancing properties.
Application of the tincture of the red root
In folk medicine tincture of the red root is used for:
- treatment of inflammatory diseases of the reproductive system (prostatitis, prostate adenoma, uterine fibroids , infertility);
- urolithiasis;
- enuresis;
- blood diseases;
- neuroses;
- bronchitis ;
- diseases of the lungs;
- as a general tonic and a means for maintaining the cardiovascular system.
Tincture of the red root can both be purchased at the pharmacy, and cook yourself. At home preparation of tincture recipes can differ, depending on, for treatment of what disease it will be used.
Preparation of alcoholic tincture of the red root:
- Tincture for lung diseases, SARS, sinusitis, anemia, reproductive disorders. 50 grams of pre-crushed red root pour ½ liter of alcohol (quality vodka without additives) and insist, shaking regularly, two weeks, in a dark cool place. After this, tincture should be filtered and take half an hour before eating 1 teaspoon three times a day.
- Balm from prostatitis, prostate adenoma, impotence, diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, neuroses. Mix 30 grams of pre-crushed red root and 30 grams of propolis, pour half a liter of alcohol and insist, periodically shaking, 12 days in a dark place. After that, tincture drain and take 30 drops three times a day for half an hour before meals. The course of treatment lasts a month, after which you need to make a two-month break and repeat the course of reception according to the same scheme.
- Toning and preventive tincture. 25 grams of dry raw material pour a glass of vodka and insist a week in a dark place at room temperature. Take 20-40 drops (depending on body weight), twice a day.
Contraindications for the application of the tincture of the red root are:
- arterial hypertension;
- heart attack;
- pregnancy and breastfeeding;
- age up to 12 years.
There may also be cases of individual intolerance to the drug.
