Reggie Beach

Where did the name of the beach come from?

Its name Reggie Beach in Jamaica received due to local entertainment. In the evening, after the midday heat, Jamaican musicians like to meet here to play a live jim session and relax on the soft sand. Most interesting on the beach on Friday evening, when local reggae groups arrange grandiose live performances here, and DJs organize discos until late at night. Dinner and fine music is served under bright stars.

In 2008, Reggie Beach hosted the City Music Awards, representing the voices of 1,500 Caribbean music lovers. The winners of the award, who attended the ceremony, were Sly and Robbie, Spragga Benz, Beenie Man.

How to get to the beach?
