Children especially hard to move the road - in a train , on an airplane or in a car, because it is not easy for them to sit quietly in one place for a long time. Before you go on the road, pick up a "magic" backpack for your baby. Pre-put in it a few favorite toys of your child, an album for drawing and colored pencils, a new toy with which the kid will be interested to play (for example, a slate, a doll, putting on fingers, etc.). It is convenient to bring developing albums for kids with stickers that can be found in any children's store, for example, with a mosaic of geometric figures or "Find Differences", etc. All children adore stickers, and such an album will carry away crumbs for a long time. Of course, toys and games must match the age of the baby, otherwise they will not be interested in him. Take every little thing from your backpack in turn, let each toy become a surprise for the baby.
If you plan ahead, than to take the child on the road, then you can prepare a photo album for him. Fill it with baby pictures, relatives, pets, favorite toys. Such an album will distract the child on the way, and he will be happy to answer your questions.
You can take books with you, or simply printed texts (in order to save space), tongue twisters, nursery rhymes, children's songs, which are good for learning with children on the road.
In nature, look for opportunities for the kid to know the world around him. For example, ask him to point out the big trees, and then find their younger brothers - young trees. Collect together autumn or summer bouquets of leaves, flowers and herbs.
You can find different items - treasures of the forest: acorns, cones, pebbles, etc. Suggest the baby all this beautifully to decompose, then play hide and seek: hide one object, and offer the child to find the missing treasure.
Suggest ideas, than to take children in the village in the summer. Here, the child can safely be introduced to a diverse world of domestic animals: show him a hen house, a cowshed, go out with him to the pasture, feed ducks, dogs, see how the cow is milked, etc. At the same time with the baby it is necessary to talk a lot, explaining to him how the houses for animals are called, what sounds they utter, what they eat, etc.

Children from 3 years can be taken on short trips. Think about your child's leisure time before traveling. Take along an old awning, a rope and scissors. Cut the holes in the tent and invite the kid to throw the ball at the target.
