In most educational institutions, business games, tests and other activities aimed at identifying the inclinations and preferences of students are conducted in their free time from basic studies.
For conducting additional lessons for the purpose of career guidance, the school psychologist, the deputy director for educational work, the class teacher and other teachers usually respond. In addition, parents of schoolchildren, as well as senior students, are actively involved in such activities.
Classes for vocational guidance for the youngest children are usually funny games, during which the children get acquainted with different professions and begin to realize the importance and necessity of labor activity in general. In turn, in the upper grades this work takes a much more serious character.
The mandatory program of vocational guidance at school with high school students includes the following elements:

- study of various fields of activity;
- research on the labor market situation;
- assistance to high school students in the "search for themselves";
conducting business games, testing and psychological counseling in a group or individual form.
The task of vocational guidance at the school, conducted by teachers and parents, is to help each child determine the future profession by the time of graduation, and do so in a few years the graduate did not have to regret the decision.
Insufficient attention of pupils and teachers to career counseling issues can have an extremely negative impact on the future lives of children, so this line of work should be treated with all seriousness.
