Color test relationship

The color test of the Etkind relationship is a relatively recent invention, since it appeared only at the end of the last century. The system is designed to restore poorly understood relationships by mental patients. However, the color test of the relationship A. Etkind has long moved from the section of clinical practices to advisory work with adults and children. This technique involves comparing the colors and characters of real life, as well as the color scale of preferences, similar to that created in the color test of Lusher's relations.

Color test of online relations Etkind: stages

In order to use the methodology, you need to go through all five stages in sequence. So, the technique of the color test of the relationship:

  1. Conversation with a psychologist. In the course of this, the composition of the family is indicated, the named persons are fixed on paper, and sometimes the circle is extended to secondary relatives, if they are important to the person, are close to him. In addition to family members, friends, foes, ideal, as well as the client's "subpersonality" are indicated: "You are in the future", "You are in the past", "You are at work", "You are at home", "You are on vacation". The characters must be 12-18.
  2. Color associations. The client is given 8 different colored cards (as in Lusher). The psychologist names the names of people from the previously compiled list, and the subject for each person calls the most appropriate color. If two characters are called 2-3 colors, the psychologist records them all, but one of them should be singled out as "most suitable".
  3. To go through the third stage of the color test of the Etkind relationship, you need to lay out colored cards in descending order of preference. Every time a person chooses the most pleasing color for him, then from the remaining ones, etc. The psychologist writes it down.
  4. The psychologist makes the final table, where he contributes all the data.
  5. There is an interpretation of the color test of the relationship. There are two ways: either borrow from Lusher the meaning of colors, or using the color space in relation to the characters. In any case, the technique of the color test of the relationship (TEC) requires the presence of the client, since the person's reaction to hypotheses is important.

Any psychologist can implement this method, but it's not always possible to independently test.

Color Test Relationships Online: Interpretation

The analysis is multilayered and complex, the client's reaction and the many small factors that the table identifies are taken into account.

  1. Total saturation of interpersonal relationships. If a person uses 7-8 colors for associations - his world is diverse and saturated. If 5-6 - his picture of the world is simplified. If only 4 or less - a person is very narrow in his views and analyze the picture will be extremely difficult.
  2. General self-assessment. It is necessary to determine the place on the scale, where the subject himself placed himself. Normally should be above the middle of the scale, but not the highest place (this is an overestimated self-esteem). Fourth above and below the place - problems with self-esteem (understated).
  3. Analogue of the scale of lies. If the friend in the scale of preferences is below the enemy - perhaps, the results are erroneous, biased.
  4. Relations with parents. Normally, parents should be on the same line and higher than the mark of the client himself. If the parents are lower - it indicates problems with them.
  5. Ideal. It is important, where it is on the scale of preferences and who is on the top line. These are important people in the life of the client. If the ideal is on the scale below the client, then he no longer prompts for accomplishment.
  6. Friends. They should be on the same line with the client or with a difference of one line.
  7. Identification. All persons who have the same color in the scale as the client himself, in the eyes of the client in some way equal to him.

In addition, the psychologist pays attention to who is surrounded more - men or women, and suggests why this can be so.
