Wardrobe room with own hands

Every woman dreams that in her house there was a large and beautiful wardrobe with various drawers, shelves and a variety of hangers and for placing a large number of clothes, shoes and other things.

The wardrobe can be either an ordinary wardrobe or a specially equipped room in which you can place a lot more filling than in a standard cupboard, arrange furniture for fitting and a large mirror in which you can see everything yourself. Agree - this is a paradise for any woman.

Nowadays, it is not so difficult to equip a spacious and especially small dressing room with your own hands, it is enough to allocate a pantry or any other nook in the house and turn it into a huge wardrobe. In our master class we will show you one of the options how to equip the dressing room with your own hands from plasterboard.

First, let's define the plan of the room. In this case, we are constructing a wall of gypsum plasterboard, measuring 3 x 2.57 m, with a total area of ​​about 7.5 sq. M. m, which will separate from the whole room a secluded nook according to the created project. And for this we need:

• gypsum board (2 sheets);
• metal profiles (10 pcs.);
• special scissors for cutting metal;
• ruler;
• screwdriver;
• self-tapping screws;
• putty;
• putty knife;
• wallpaper;
• special adhesive for wallpaper.

We make a dressing room with our own hands

1. We collect metal frame from metal profiles. We measure the ruler 4 sections of the floor profile with a length of 3 m, and 2 sections of the wall profile - 2.57 m, then, special cut the workpieces.
2. Using a screwdriver and screws, we attach 2 floor profiles.
3. In the same way we attach 2 wall profiles.
4. There will be 2 ceiling profiles.
5. For the reliability of the structure, we make transverse profiles and carefully, so as not to get injured, we fix them with self-tapping screws. We proceed to install the drywall. For this, we attach it to metal profiles with double-layer self-tapping screws, this will provide noise isolation, besides, it will be possible to hide the wiring.
6. After the installation is completed, we seal the putty with the putty.
7. Finishing the dressing room with your own hands. To do this, we picked up the wallpaper in accordance with the interior of the room, cream color, which pastes our plasterboard wall.

How to equip the dressing room with your own hands?

After we have completed all the finishing work, we can proceed with the arrangement of our wardrobe. To fill it, you need to build special shelves, drawers and rods for hangers. If the boxes can be put already ready, then the shelves and bars are all much more complicated.

To install the rod shelves in the dressing room with our own hands, we will need:

• 2 shelves with white shelves measuring 150 x 45 x 35 cm - 4 shelves, 150 x 100 x 35 cm - 2 shelves;
• metal rod -1.4 x 1.5 m - 2 pcs;
• self-tapping screws;
• screwdriver.

1. We make marking, in which place it is most convenient to place racks.
2. Using a screwdriver, we fasten the metal base of the rack with screws.
3. We install the shelves in places where they are fastened to the base.
4. After we have installed our own shelves in the dressing room, we can start placing the rods. Using self-tapping screws and a screwdriver, we fix them to holders on metal shelves, 2 bars - parallel to the wall, placing them on different levels.
5. After we have attached all the stuff for the dressing room with our own hands, we only need to place boxes for storing shoes, other things, and, of course, to arrange and hang out clothes.
