What should I wear without harm to my health?

Sometimes, in order to look stylish, elegant and attractive, many women forget why footwear was originally invented - for the reliable protection of feet. Because of the priority of appearance and beauty, unfortunately, health suffers, and wearing incorrectly selected shoes can turn into just catastrophic consequences.

Material of shoes

As a rule, we all strive to purchase clothes made from natural fabrics. The same principle should be followed when choosing shoes.

Dermatine, synthetic materials, rubber and similar raw materials for the production of shoes or boots, of course, have a low cost, which significantly reduces the price of the final price of shoes. But for the legs, such products are dangerous, because they do not allow air to circulate freely, and accordingly, dermal breathing is not performed. This provokes the multiplication of pathogenic bacteria and fungi on the insole, causes dermatological diseases, including fungal disease of the skin onychomycosis. In addition, artificial materials are usually tough, poorly worn and do not settle down on the contours of the foot. Thus, there is an uneven distribution of pressure on different parts of the leg, with time a deformation of connective and muscular tissue is observed, flat feet develop.

Shoes made of genuine leather or fabric, on the other hand, are soft, well stretched and quickly take shape of the foot. Moreover, natural materials provide a normal air supply to the skin.

Shoe shape and model

Recently, extremes in terms of heel height have been accepted. Women prefer either stilettos or strip shoes, or a completely flat sole. Both options are fundamentally wrong and cause irreparable damage to health.

Harm to high heels (from 5 cm):

  1. The displacement in the body of the center of gravity in the direction forward. Because of this, blood circulation in the hip area is severely impaired, and the calf muscles are constantly contracting (remain in tension).
  2. It is amenable to changes in the arch of the foot, the ascent is disproportionately increased. Such indicators lead to the formation of build-ups on the bones.
  3. Develops valgus deformity of the thumb, the so-called "bone" , when the bones protrude outwards in the upper lateral part of the foot.
  4. Thinning of the intervertebral discs due to improperly distributed pressure on the lumbar spine and, accordingly, the spinal cord. This leads not only to pain, but also to a violation of the circulation in the pelvic region.

Damage to the flat sole:

  1. Absence of any cushioning when the heel hits the ground or asphalt surface. Thus, the spine is constantly prone to microtrauma, even while walking.
  2. Because of the lack of support for the foot, the muscles of the legs and tendon are strained, which leads to sprains, convulsions.
  3. Incorrect distribution of the body's weight on the leg. In this case, there are many options for negative consequences: flat feet, deformities of the foot, clubfoot. The latter disease leads to the displacement of the femoral, knee joints, and later - and vertebrae.
