Types of garden lamps

Classifications of lighting devices that can be used outside the walls of living quarters are based on several factors:

3. Power supply . Depending on this characteristic, street lighting devices are divided into three sections with different power sources:

• batteries (battery) - this kind is used in LED garden lights, because they consume very little power. The disadvantage of using them is that you will have to periodically change the battery;
• the sun - they are charged by day, and the night emits light. Such lamps do not have a large capacity, but it is enough to illuminate the tracks, and they can be placed along the entire perimeter of the site;
• electricity - the luminaire will need to lay a cable through which the current will flow to the lantern. This is a fairly labor-intensive work and the installation radius is considerably narrowed.

Also, you can separately say about decorative garden lamps, made in the form of various figures. For example: a dwarf with a flashlight in his hands or a frog with his mouth open. They will not only cover the territory at night, but also decorate it in the daytime.

In order for your garden lights to work as long as possible, from autumn and all winter months, it is better to clean them from the open area to the room, as they can deteriorate from severe frost and constant humidity. The exception is large stationary lights - most of these models are designed to work in a very wide temperature range.
